oopsadaisy Circus & FacepaiNTing

During the Covid-19 crisis, I am painting windows!   For adults and children. Please see my Window Painting page. Thanks

In a teeny nutshell...  if youre looking for something to keep both kids & adults happy at your event- that's us!

I started learning circus skills around 20 years ago. I went on to work with some of the larger circuses in the North west, doing school workshops, festivals, stilt walking, face painting and fire performing, specialising in fire poi performance. Travelling Nationwide and sleeping in the big tops! <3

I set up Oopsadaisy Circus around 18 years ago and we have found our own unique niche. We bring circus skills to a wide range of people, many who may not have had the chance to try them before. - Liz Pascoe

We bring quality circus skills workshops to events big and small, with all the workshop equipment that the larger circuses have. Our brief is to make happy memories for people, and our emphasis is on their enjoyment and the thrill they get from learning a new skill. We use traditional toys, including some home made ones to encourage people to make their own and continue learning at home.

We have regular collaborations with some of Manchester's most exciting and vibrant event organisers like our Hoop Award-winning friends Our Kids Social. We work together at festivals, town centre events, children's glo parties, family friendly raves and silent discos, in some of the North West's most beautiful venues, such as the Manchester Monastery and The Refuge.

Our face painting is high standard, with contemporary designs and all our glitter is biodegradable.

We dont spend a fortune on marketing as most of our work is obtained by word of mouth and recommendation. We have a small, trusted team so early booking is best.

Clients include:,X Factor Thames Media, Festival No 6,  Strummercamp Festival, Manchester Punk Festival, The Refuge, Manchester, The Playhouse Project, Tameside Hospital, eXile Music Festival,  Yes Manchester, Gorilla Manchester, Anderton Boat Lift; Urbis, Manchester; Liverpool Tall Ships; Glossop Carnival; High Peak Borough Council; Tameside Childrens' Centres; Terra Nova School; Brittania Hotel, Manchester; Tour Of Britain Cycle Race, Circus Sensible; Tameside Libraries; Asda; Pampers; Manchester Markets; Derbyshire County Council; Health 4 Life, Buxton; Dewsbury Library; Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre; Co-op Bank; Friends Of Mossley Park;  Sudeley Castle, Gloucester; British Waterways; Trafford Water Park; Many schools & private parties; Manchester Parks; Northern Green Gathering Festival; Manchester Markets; Saddleworth Creative Network, Thames TV,  Rebellion Festival and a whole lot more!

Why the name "Oopsadaisy"

Well...  learning circus skills involves having fun dropping things on the floor until you get the hang of it!  During workshops, Oopsadaisy!  is the phrase that we hear the most!

What is small & green & occasionally wears hats?
Us! Oopsadaisy is a very small business covering mostly the North West of England.
Whenever possible, costumes are locally sourced & made.
We don't knowingly use products that are tested on animals.
We don't want to take over the world & become a huge company, just to make a living doing something that we enjoy.
We are a contemporary circus, using traditional circus toys.
Our emphasis is on your enjoyment
